About Ocala Music and Arts
Ocala Music and Arts was created with a simple but powerful vision: to offer personalized music instruction that meets each student right where they are. We believe no two learners are alike—and your piano lessons shouldn’t be either. Whether your child is just starting their musical journey or already has years of experience, we welcome students ages five and up into an environment designed for growth, creativity, and confidence. Lessons are customized around each student’s strengths, learning style, and goals, blending structure with freedom and offering recital opportunities to build performance skills over time. Meet the Founder - Kevin Ray Allain
Originally from South Florida, Kevin Ray Allain began his musical journey at the age of nine, inspired by his father’s passion for guitar. Over the years, Kevin explored a wide range of instruments—from piano and guitar to flute, ukulele, trumpet, tuba, and voice—and developed a deep love for both performance and teaching. His experience spans from leading ensembles and directing musicals in high school, then at the Lake Worth Playhouse, to acting in numerous stage productions, and pursuing music education at Florida Atlantic University, where he studied voice, performed in multiple vocal ensembles, and played in the wind ensemble. Since 2015, Kevin has been dedicated to teaching piano and currently serves on the worship team at Calvary Chapel. His approach to music education is rooted in empathy, patience, and a commitment to honoring each student’s unique path.
